“Let Me bless you with My grace and Peace. Open your heart and mind to receive all that I have for you. Do not be ashamed of your emptiness. Instead, view it as the optimal condition for being filled with My peace.

It is easy to touch up your outward appearance, to look as if you have it all together. Your attempts to look good can fool most people. But I see straight through you, into the depths of your being. There is no place for pretense in your relationship with Me. Rejoice in the pretense in your relationship with Me. Rejoice in the relief of being fully understood. Talk with Me about your struggles and feelings of inadequacy. Little by little, I will transform your weaknesses into strengths. Remember that your relationship with Me is SATURATED in grace. Therefore, nothing that you do or don’t do can separate you from My Presence.

Later Sammie asked me what God had said to me, and I replied “nothing”. God said nothing, and that’s okay, because I’m starting to wrestle for His presence again, and I’m prepared to wait. I feel like God is waiting to see if I’m waiting. If He just flooded in with answers and guidance right now, I would not have changed, I would not have learned to wait and trust without answers, and without a road map for the future. So I’m kind of glad that God was silent, because I actually want to wait, I want to prove my metal to God; I don’t necessarily want to ease and instant anything anymore.

Think back to where you were spiritually a year ago.

If you were further from Christ than you are now, rejoice.
He has proved faithful, and is strengthening you daily through obedience and sacrifice. He chastises the ones He loves.

If you were closer to Christ than you are now, rejoice.
You’ve just realised the harsh truth.
You have proved unfaithful, yet He offers out a nail pierced hand filled with unfailing love. Forgiveness is within grasp. Reach out and receive.

Your love is sweeter than honey, your love is stronger than death, your love LIFTS me of my burdens, it teaches to dance.

Wow God! You are simply beautiful in the way you work in our lives!

Help us to see you in everything we do! Help us to show you in everything we do!! Your everything we need.

Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Return, O Lord! How long?
Have pity on your servants!

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.

Let your work be shown to your servants
and your glorious power to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!
